POLICE have put a £1,000 Christmas "bounty" on the heads of drink-drivers and those who take drugs before getting behind the wheel in Derbyshire.
Officers are asking people to report motorists they know have got behind the wheel after a festive tipple as part of their annual Christmas
drink-drive campaign.
Derbyshire Constabulary is again working with Crimestoppers for the campaign, which runs from tomorrow to January 1.

Fire in toilet block near The Grand Pavilion, in Matlock Bath
FIREFIGHTERS were called to a fire in an external toilet block near The Grand Pavilion, in Matlock Bath.
Two crews from Matlock and one from Wirksworth attended the incident in South Parade shortly after 8.30am on Sunday.
The incident involved a small fire in an external block near the Pavilion.
Fire crews extinguished the fire before leaving at 9.10am. Police were also called to the scene.

The county's fire service is facing a 40% cut to its budget over the next four years.

Derby road closed during rush hour after three-car collision
FIREFIGHTERS were called to free two people trapped in a car following a three-car collision in Derby on Monday evening.
The incident at the junction of Mount Street and Mill Hill Lane led to road closures and initial tailbacks in the Normanton and city centre areas.

Swan found with wing chopped off at Long Eaton gravel pits
POLICE are investigating two incidents in which swans appear to have been mutilated and killed.
A walker called police when he discovered two dead birds, one with its wings apparently chopped off, in Long Eaton.

Mum's op horror as Derby medics leave glove in her body
A PATIENT who had just undergone an operation to remove her womb was astonished when she later found medics had left a surgical glove inside her.
