A PUB manager who was threatened with legal action over a giant Sultan bust put on the building's roof has had the statue taken down.
The statue, spray-painted gold, had been on The Woodlands , Allestree, after it was on top of the popular Derby nightclub, Zanzibar, for 15 years.
The club's former home was taken over by the restaurant chain Cosmo which decided to sell the sultan and donate the money to the Derby Telegraph's minibus appeal.
