DERBY Mountain Rescue Team were called to search for a missing 54-year-old man in woodland surrounding Allestree Park yesterday.
The man had last been heard from on Thursday and police, concerned for the man's well being, called in the rescue team when his car was located in a car park on Woodland Lane.
As the team's search management crew were preparing the search, a body of a man matching the description of the missing person was discovered in woodland by a member of the public.
