FIREFIGHTERS were called to Horsley after an elderly couple's home went up in flames.
The blaze at the semi-detached two-storey house in Church Street was reported at 8.45am today (Sunday) as a chimney fire.
But a spokeswoman for the fire service said: "The whole house was entirely involved in the fire."
It took crews two hours to extinguish the blaze.
