MICK Philpott is reported to have a job cleaning in prison for £14 a week, according to The Sun newspaper.
The 56-year-old was handed a life sentence after being found guilty of the manslaughter of the six children who died in the 18 Victory Road blaze last May.
His wife Mairead and friend Paul Mosley were both handed 17-year sentences.
The Sun has reported that the father-of-17 will be told to start work as soon as he is off suicide watch at Wakefield Prison in West Yorkshire.
