FIRE crews from Ripley and Alfreton attended a large tree fire in Ripley.
Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service said it had dealt with a "substantial amount" of conifer trees alight in Hopton close at around 8.30 this evening.
The service could not confirm a cause at this time.
Fire fighters extinguished the blaze by 9.20pm.
