A 16-YEAR-OLD girl from Derby is one of two people who has been arrested for allegedly making hoax 999 calls to the police.
The girl and a 20-year-old woman, both from the Osmaston area, were arrested on suspicion of causing a public nuisance after the force's contact management centre took "a large number" of calls throughout June.
The arrests have led to Police in Derbyshire to remind people of the consequences of making hoax calls.
