A MURDERER and a robber have absconded from a Derbyshire open prison.
David Johnson and Carl Ian Moses both failed to return to HMP Sudbury on Saturday following release on temporary licence.
Johnson, 38, was sentenced to a life imprisonment for murder at Winchester Crown Court in October 1998.
He is white, 5ft 7in, of medium build, with cropped dark brown hair and green eyes.
He has connections in Glasgow and Bournemouth.
