ALVASTON'S senior police officer has deployed plain-clothed patrols to the area in response to a spate of burglaries.Undercover detectives will add to the already increased numbers of uniformed officers on the streets.Inspector Kamaljit Singh Bria says his officers are also talking to local Neighbourhood Watch co-ordinators to help them spread security advice.
