Political figures in Derbyshire have paid tribute to former Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, who has died following a stroke.
Baroness Thatcher's spokesman said the UK's first female Prime Minister, who was in office from 1979 to 1990, died in the early hours of Monday, aged 87.
South Derbyshire Tory MP Heather Wheeler said she was a "child of Thatcher".
