A FISHING club has held two sessions to clear rubbish out of the River Derwent in Derby – and has vowed to carry out more.Dave Parr, secretary of the Earl of Harrington's Angling Club, said it was "disappointing" to find so much rubbish dumped in the river.Last Thursday, club members collected 35 bags of litter from the Pride Park stretch of waterway.And yesterday afternoon, about 15 members returned to the banks and fetched more items out.Mr Parr said the club retrieved a...
