BURTON pub company Punch Taverns has reported a fall in half-yearly pre-tax profits which it has blamed on the severe winter weather.
The firm, which has several pubs in Derbyshire, this morning said that in the 28 weeks to March 2, it made £26 million, which was down on the £30.2 million it made in the same period 12 months ago.
Sales were also down, from £264.6 million to £243.3 million.
